This started out as a totally epic painting... but went downhill from there. I know, the leaves of the tree totally fail here. I lost my vision halfway through there. but the rest I'm okay with, I suppose. My biggest painting yet.

what are you worried about? drop the inhibitions, don't fret over leaves and how they look to anyone else. work big...really big and you'll lose the self doubt and your inhibitions.

I think the leaves are the best part of all! It's like everything is made up of a billowing fluid, especially the leaves. They look like clouds of paint in water. Very organic. I think the only parts that fall short are the blue sky to the lower right and the roots. They're the only parts that don't look as "flowing" as the rest.

I like it. It seems simple, and everything fits together so well. Especially the slight blend of colors above the top of the tree.
